Job Description
Currently seeking a Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to work across two different Private Practices in Spring Hill, Florida (located only 10 minutes from each other). Applicant must be detail oriented and willing to learn. Spanish speaking preferred. Insurance knowledge necessary (ie, Availity). Knowledge of Practice Fusion a plus. Mon-Thursday 845AM-4PM. Friday 845-3. Must be able to reliably be at office during these scheduled hours. Ideal candidate must be accurate, efficient, and reliable. Job functions will include but are not limited to:
- Taking vitals
- Rooming patients
- Checking in patients
- Scheduling, rescheduling and canceling appointments
- Confirming appointments
- Collecting copayments and deductibles
- Scheduling procedures
- Obtaining prior authorizations for office visits and procedures
- Reviewing insurances for deductibles, out-of-pocket, and copay amounts
Qualifications:
- Be able to learn Electronic Medical Records (PracticeFusion)
- Must have excellent customer service skill
- Spanish speaking preferred
