• Rotation across all three locations required About us Chin Up! Aesthetics is a three-location medical spa in metro Atlanta. Our Nurse Practitioners and Medical Aestheticians treat patients all day, every day, and the Medical Assistant is the person who makes that possible. You set the room, you prep the product, you take the photos, and you're often the one the patient talks to most. If you like aesthetics and you like moving, this is a good job. It's rarely quiet. The work, in the order you'll actually learn it Injectables. Neurotoxin and filler are the heart of the practice. You'll prep and reconstitute what the provider asks for, set the tray, apply and time topical numbing, hand product, and chart the units, syringes, and lot numbers. You'll get very good at Botox and Dysport, at the Restylane family, at Sculptra, and at Kybella. You'll register patients in Allē and Aspire and make sure they actually get the rebate they earned, which is one of the fastest ways to make a patient love you. Skin treatments. HydraFacial with boosters and perks, VI Peel, SkinBetter peels, dermaplaning, SkinPen microneedling. You'll set up, stock consumables, prep skin, and walk every patient through their post-care handout before they leave. Devices and lasers. Virtue RF, Venus RF, CoolPeel, IPL, and the Candela for laser hair removal. You'll learn setup, handpieces and tips, consumables, eyewear and safety, and room turnover between very different treatments. Emsculpt Neo and Emsella sit here too. Some of it is genuinely fun to run. PRP and blood work. PRP for undereyes, hair, and microneedling all start with a draw. You do the draw, you spin it, you prep the tube for the provider. This is a real part of the job, not an occasional one. Photography and charting. Before-and-afters, same angles, same light, every time. Consistent photos are how patients see their own results and how we show our work, and sloppy ones are worse than none. Everything gets charted the same visit. Rooms and inventory. Stocked, clean, turned over fast, and you know what's running low before anyone asks.

The other half:

front of house When the schedule is light you're at the desk and on the phone. Checking patients in and out, taking payment, handling Cherry and CareCredit, rebooking, recommending the SkinBetter or AnteAGE that goes with what they just had done, and turning callers into consults. This is not backup duty. It's half the job, every week. The MAs who do well here are the ones who like both halves.

The newer half:

medical wellness This year we added hormone pellets, medical weight loss, and peptides, and MAs run a real part of it. You'll run the 30-minute wellness intake on your own: forms and consents, height and weight, body composition scan, and the lab draw itself, labeled and spun in our own room. On pellet days you set the tray, numb the site ahead of the provider, assist the insertion, and chart the dose and lot number. You'll also teach injection and reconstitution demos for weight loss and peptide patients. It's maybe a fifth of the week today and growing. You don't need to know any of it coming in. What we're looking for Medical Assistant or clinical experience. Med spa, dermatology, or plastics is a real advantage, but we've hired and trained good people from other corners of healthcare. Comfortable drawing blood. Between PRP and the wellness program this comes up constantly. Phlebotomy certification is a plus; steady hands and real reps matter more. Willing to work across all three locations. We give about a month's notice on schedule changes. Good on the phone and comfortable talking about money. You'll recommend treatments and products and book appointments. We'd rather teach the clinical side to someone who's naturally good with patients than the reverse. Organized enough to chart during the visit, not at the end of the day. Curious, because the menu changes. What we offer today isn't what we offered two years ago. What we're honestly not looking for Someone who wants strictly clinical work with no patient-facing sales. Someone who can only work one location. Someone using aesthetics as a stop on the way to an ER or an ICU. All fine goals, just not this job. Why people stay We promote. Our multi-location manager started as a lead MA. One of our MAs started at the front desk. The ladder is short and real, and we pay for training that makes you better at this. You'll also touch more of aesthetics here than at most practices. Three locations, a full device stack, injectables all day, and a wellness program that's still being built. Training runs two to three weeks on the admin and clinical basics. Most people feel solid around four months and genuinely confident around a year. Nobody expects you to know our protocols on day one. Systems Zenoti, Aesthetic Record, Allē and Aspire, Cherry and CareCredit, LabCorp. Experience with any of them helps. None are required.
