Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care across various medical settings. This role involves supporting physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth patient flow, and maintaining high standards of medical support. The Certified Medical Assistant will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient services while adhering to safety protocols and medical regulations. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Support physicians with procedures such as medication administration, injections, and ekgs. Operate and maintain EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information Assist with diagnostic procedures including treadmill stress, event monitor and basic lab tests Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions Support medical administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and insurance documentation Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards Requirements Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program Prior experience in cardiology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or related specialties preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration Experience working with EHR systems in outpatient or hospital environments Basic life support (BLS) certification required Strong patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings including emergency medicine Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt to various clinical environments such as inpatient units or outpatient clinics Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations
MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO BOTH LOCATIONS MACON/DUBLIN.

Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
