Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant for one day a week (Monday) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support medical staff, and ensure smooth clinical operations. This role involves medical assisting duties, managing electronic medical records, and delivering excellent patient service in a professional environment focused on pain management and joint care. Responsibilities Perform medical assisting tasks including preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, and assisting with procedures. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EMR) accurately and efficiently, ensuring all medical documentation is complete and up-to-date. Provide excellent patient service by addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive experience. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks related to pain management and joint treatments. Maintain organized medical records in compliance with privacy regulations and office policies. Support the medical team in documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment for patients and staff. Requirements Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required. Proven experience in a medical office setting with proficiency in medical assisting duties. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and record management. Strong patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care. Experience working with pain management and joint-related treatments is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in handling medical records and documentation. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
