Monroe, GA 30655 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our Family Practice Primary Care team in Monroe, GA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the practice and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures. Obtain and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information. Prepare patients for exams and explain treatment procedures. Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Schedule patient appointments and manage clinical documentation. Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked. Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatment plans and medications. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program. Experience in Family Practice and Primary Care settings preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Current CPR certification is a plus.
