Job Description

A busy, well-established, five-star pediatric practice conveniently located in the Peachtree Corners Forum Shopping center, seeks a new fulltime medical assistant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be honest, dependable, professional, great with kids, a team player with a positive attitude and with both strong problem-solving and technical skills.
Responsibilities broadly include:
Delivering safe, dependable and effective care to pediatric patients Uses acquired knowledge to respond to changes in clinical situations Liaison in care with MDs, PNP, RN's and front office staff to provide the best patient care Intake of patients (greets, rooms, vital signs, screening tests) Administering vaccines and prescribed medications Administration and documentation of CLIA waived laboratory tests Data documentation and retrieval within EMR Collects, reports, and provides data as required in accordance with practice standards Able to be flexible in role and task assignments Requirements for the role are: High school graduate At least 2 years' experience as a certified medical assistant preferably in a pediatric setting Proficient with EMR navigation and documentation skills (Athena preferred) Expert with medication and vaccine administration, CLIA waived laboratory testing, catheterization & spirometry experience beneficial Excellent verbal & written communication skills, providing outstanding customer service Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask in a faced-paced environment Must have reliable transportation Compensation based on experience As a healthcare facility, this is a drug-free and non-smoking environment.
