Position Overview Savannah Age Management Medicine is seeking a polished, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our concierge medical practice. In this role, you will work closely with our clinical team and providers to deliver high-touch patient care, facilitate clinical workflows, and maintain an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate brings strong phlebotomy skills, excellent clinical judgment for patient triaging, and a warm, customer-service-driven approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities Phlebotomy & Lab Operations:
Perform lab draws (venipuncture); properly handle, process, and package lab specimens. Coordinate with lab parts to maintain inventory of lab supplies and troubleshoot issues with lab results as they arise.
Patient Triaging & Vitals:
Conduct thorough patient triaging in person and over the phone, taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and assessing patient needs promptly.
Prescription Request Management:
Receive, review, and process incoming patient prescription refill requests; communicate accurately with pharmacies and providers following practice protocols.
Paperwork:
Ensure that patient paperwork is completed in advance of scheduled appointments to ensure effective care.
Provider & Clinical Support:
Assist providers during exams, procedures, and patient visits as needed; ensure exam rooms are sanitized, stocked, and fully prepared prior to appointments.
Concierge Customer Service:
Provide warm, prompt, high-touch customer service via phone, email, and in person; answer patient inquiries and ensure a smooth patient journey.
EMR & Charting:
Accurately update patient records and maintain chart integrity within the EMR system.
Qualifications & Requirements Certification:
Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of clinical medical assistant experience, ideally within internal medicine, specialty care, or concierge healthcare settings.
Phlebotomy Proficiency:
Strong, demonstrated skill in routine and complex phlebotomy/venipuncture.
Prescription & Pharmacy Knowledge:
Familiarity with prescription processing, medication terminology, and pharmacy interactions.
Professional Presence:
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and a polished demeanor suited for high-end patient care.

Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week
