Job Description

Our wellness center is looking for a highly motivated and personable individual to join our team. We take pride in finding new talent and helping them grow. Receptionist/medical assistant are cross-trained and responsible for answering incoming calls and greeting patients. They also track and handle patient scheduling and appointments, fill out paperwork, check-in/check-out patients, verify insurances and help with back office duties, such as assisting physicians and patient intake/vitals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience handling insurance verifications, as well as knowledge of the Podiatry, Sports Medicine, and/or Dermatology fields, but previous experience is not a requirement. Certified Phlebotomist and/or bilingual is a plus. We are looking for hard working individuals who are willing to learn and actually CARE about the patients they are seeing.
Responsibilities:
Attention to detail, learn office protocols, ad must be able to work in a fast paced environment Perform clerical and administrative tasks, such as answering the phone, scheduling/confirming appointments, handling billing/insurance matters, verifying insurances, and coordinating patient records. Provide information regarding office policies and procedures to patients and visitors. Provide basic medical education about common foot/ankle ailments. Draw blood as needed on patients Assist with patient check-in, check-out Assist with vitals/patient workup and procedures Perform detailed documentation Assist in cleaning rooms/office and sterilize instruments Send us your resume and let us know why you're interested in this position!
