Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with multiple providers. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and a commitment to supporting both patients and healthcare providers. Cardiology experience preferred, EKG and Phlebotomy knowledge a MUST ! Salary based on Experience. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories. Perform basic life support and emergency procedures when necessary. Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and assist with various medical procedures. Ensure compliance with medical protocols and safety standards. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and treatment options. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinical environment. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Previous experience in a medical assistant role. Knowledge of cardiology protocols and experience working in an office setting. Proficient in medication administration and understanding of vital signs monitoring. Strong foundation in anatomy and physiology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in patient interactions. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications in emergency medicine are a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient-centered care. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
