Job Description

Position Overview:
The Medical Office Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our Savannah office. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a medical office setting, possess strong communication skills, exhibit professionalism in appearance and conduct, and demonstrate a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Scheduling and Intake:
Manage the scheduling and intake of clients. Initiate and maintain patient charts.
Administrative Support:
Process payments for clients. Communicate with insurance companies and pharmacies. Handle prescription refills. Provide administrative support to clinicians. Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by the office manager.
Customer Service:
Act as the point person for patient inquiries and concerns related to billing, insurance, and scheduling. Ensure a positive patient experience by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office setting and health insurance is required. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Exceptional customer service skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Professional in appearance and demeanor.
Compensation:
$15 per hour Part-time position with regular business hours. 30-35 hours a week.
