Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit Assist healthcare providers during procedures, including phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support when necessary Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, medical records, and treatment plans Support medical administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient intake, insurance verification, and managing medical documentation Conduct basic physiology assessments and assist with patient education on medications and treatment protocols Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to infection control protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in outpatient clinics, hospital settings, or emergency departments to optimize patient care delivery Experience Prior experience in a medical office setting or outpatient clinic is highly preferred Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and medical records management is essential Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and pharmacology enhances your effectiveness in this role Experience in specialized areas such as dermatology, urgent care, hospital medicine, or emergency medicine is a plus Certification in basic life support (BLS) or advanced certifications related to phlebotomy or medication administration are advantageous Inpatient or Level I/II trauma center experience will strengthen your candidacy for this fast-paced role Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient service with compassion and professionalism is required Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment.
