The Howard Center is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Medical Assistant Supervisor to oversee approximately 15 medical assistants across multiple locations throughout Georgia. This is a full-time, salaried position ideal for an experienced Medical Assistant with strong leadership skills who is comfortable supervising, supporting, and developing a geographically dispersed clinical team. This position is based out of our Main office in Tifton, Georgia, and requires regular travel throughout the state. Key Responsibilities Supervise medical assistants across multiple locations throughout Georgia. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient care standards, and organizational policies. Provide ongoing training, coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to medical assistants. Coordinate schedules and manage staffing needs across sites. Promote consistency in medical assistant procedures and performance standards across locations. Travel throughout Georgia approximately once or twice per month for 2-3 days at a time to provide on-site supervision, training, and support. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant is required. Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience is required. Strong knowledge of medical assistant responsibilities, clinical workflows, and patient care standards. Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide effective coaching, training, and accountability to team members. Ability to work independently while overseeing and supporting employees across multiple locations. Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout Georgia. Work Schedule & Compensation Monday through Friday. Full-time, salaried position.
