You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Answering phones, greeting and checking in patients, scheduling, scanning, sorting mail, collecting co-payments, etc. Communicate with insurance companies for eligibility and prior authorizations Escorting patients to the exam room, taking vitals and medical histories, explaining treatment procedures/tests or educational information to patients

Qualifications:

Previous experience in healthcare or other related field Experience in Akamai PM and Elation EMR a plus Familiarity with medical terminology, billing procedures, CPT codes and diagnosis codes a plus Knowledge of insurance carriers, prior authorizations, prescription refills, ordering labs & imaging, and medical supplies Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Energetic and willing to learn Reliable and dependable
