Overview:

As a Medical Assistant at our integrative medical clinic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and the well-being of our patients. You will assist healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks, providing top-notch care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for examination and treatment. Take and record vital signs and medical histories. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures. Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens. Perform basic laboratory tests . Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow. Provide patient education and support on health maintenance and disease prevention. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is preferred. Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in an integrative or holistic healthcare setting. Strong clinical and administrative skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
