Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist optometrist with patient care, including taking medical histories and performing preliminary tests
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic medical record systems
- Provide support at the front desk, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments and answering phone calls
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment This position requires a high level of professionalism, as you will be working closely with patients and assisting with their eye care needs.
