The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting medical staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care. The ideal candidate will also help as a front desk receptionist a portion of the time. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist healthcare providers with minor procedures. Give routine childhood vaccinations Take phone calls from parents and relay information from providers as indicated Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked. Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Perform basic life support procedures when necessary. Assist with the management of patient flow within the clinic. Collaborate with nursing staff and ARNPs to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Assist at the front desk a portion of the week - checking in patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, taking payments and inputting correctly into system Skills Accurate measurements for infants and children Administer vaccines and some medications Proficiency in basic life support techniques. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
