Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the highest level of patient care in both clinic and outpatient settings. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and the ability to perform various clinical tasks efficiently. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Provide basic life support and emergency care when necessary. Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately. Support coding processes for insurance claims and medical records. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment. Educate patients on medication administration, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in both hospital medicine and outpatient settings. Utilize knowledge of emergency medicine to respond effectively in urgent situations. Experience Candidates should possess a certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred. Familiarity with medication administration, basic life support techniques, coding practices, and medical terminology is essential. A background in emergency medicine or hospital medicine will be considered an asset. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are critical for success in this role.
