Nurse Team Lead Job Purpose:
The Certified Medical Assistant helps patients by providing information, services, and assistance in support of maintaining an efficiently run office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Escort patients to exam room; measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, and document all information in patient's chart. Initiate and set up telehealth sessions for psychiatric visits. Provide instructions to patients as instructed by psychiatry providers. Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by safeguarding medical information and keeping it confidential. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Keep equipment operating by following instructions for use; troubleshoot breakdowns; maintain supplies, perform preventative maintenance. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. Enhance practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Participate in an interdisciplinary approach to client care, complete internal program referrals, and demonstrate a high degree of team-based treatment.

Required:
Completion of Medical Assistant certificate Phlebotomy experience Experience working in a medical office
Preferred:
Previous mental health experience Knowledge of Siouxland community resources Bi-lingual skills
