We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Care Team on a full-time status. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at Hy-Vee Health Exemplar Care, you will directly and positively impact the health and well-being of our patients.
You will:
Core activities of the role Assess and Room Patients Update and Maintain Patient Records Check and Monitor Vitals Obtain and Process Lab Samples Dispense Medications Administer Medications Per Provider Orders Patient Follow Up Placement of IV Inventory Tracking Check-in Patients Assist in Medical Procedures Under Direction of the Provider Act within the confines of licensure for all duties listed in this posting or elsewhere Other duties as assigned You will need
Licenses:
Current Certified Medical Assistant Certificate Experience:
Related experience preferred
Certificate:
Maintain current BLS certification required. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 25+ pounds at rare times with or without assistance Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 10 - 25 pounds semi-often Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 0 - 10 pounds frequently Environmental Conditions Moderate levels of sound, consistent amount of moving around between rooms required, in a temperature-controlled environment, and consistently working with the general public.
