Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate follow-up visits to optimize clinic efficiency. Collect patient vital signs, medical histories, and perform basic clinical tasks such as phlebotomy and specimen collection. Perform EKGs and vision testing. Maintain accurate medical documentation, update medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and managing electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems). Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting with knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices. Familiarity with women's health is highly desirable. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs collection, intake procedures, and basic patient care activities confidently. Excellent patient service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional communication style.
