Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will support our providers in delivering high-quality care by performing both clinical and administrative duties. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working directly with patients to support their health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information Complete chart preparation Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during patient visits Administer medications or injections as directed by the provider Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures Schedule appointments and maintain patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas and medical equipment Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification (CMA or equivalent) preferred but not required for candidates with applicable experience. Experience in a family practice, primary care, or outpatient clinical setting is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of eCW is a plus Phlebotomy certification or training is preferred

Full-time Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
