In this position, you will be reponsible for procedures: starting IVs, EmSculpt Neo, Emsella, performing QEEG (quantitative EEG), performing AWP exams (annual wellness physicals for concierge patients), hormone pellets, EKGs and PFTs. In addition, helping out with rooming, referrals and pre-authorizations. It is a busy clinic and we see variety of things, including hormone replacement therapy. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake, including recording vital signs, updating medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), including documentation of medical histories. We use NextGen. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers by scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards and hospital experience protocols. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required from an accredited program. Proven experience in medical office settings with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation practices. Knowing NextGen is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and basic laboratory procedures such as phlebotomy.
