Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Orthopedic Medical Assistant & Front Desk Specialist, where your energy and dedication will directly enhance patient care and clinic operations. Your expertise in medical assisting, administrative support, and a broad knowledge of medical terminology will ensure a seamless experience for patients and staff alike. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Assist with patient intake by collecting vital signs, updating medical histories, and ensuring accurate documentation of medical records. Maintain detailed medical documentation, including ICD coding, medical terminology records, and procedural notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and clinic operations to optimize efficiency while providing excellent customer service. Collaborate with healthcare providers in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, internal medicine, and other specialties to support comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office role with familiarity in EMR/EHR management systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills focused on delivering outstanding patient service in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across various specialties including emergency medicine and inpatient units. $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
