Medical Assistant/Telephone Triage Suburban Endocrinology and Diabetes Center is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. If you are passionate about patient care and enjoy working in a fast-paced specialty practice, we'd love to hear from you!

Position Summary/ Responsibilities:

Assist physicians and providers during patient visits. Process prescription refill requests. Complete medication prior authorizations. Answer incoming patient phone calls and return patient messages promptly. Coordinate and order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures. Educate and train patients on Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) devices. Administer injections as directed by providers. Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC experience preferred). Coordinate with pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare providers. Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality. Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent clinical experience). Previous experience in an endocrinology or primary care practice is a plus. Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records is preferred. Knowledge of diabetes management, insulin therapy, and CGM devices is an advantage (training provided). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
