Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for leading a team of Medical Assistants in providing patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider. Serves as an experienced role model within the practice supporting compliance, providing cross-training, following practice protocols and performing procedures within the practice. Responsibilities Manages inventory and tracking of medications and supplies. Ensures practice is in compliance with OSHA and all protocols/procedures in the delivery of patient care. Acts as MA clinical subject matter expert to assist practice management in oversight of coverage and daily patient operations. Monitors MA required training and certification records and ensures everyone is in compliance with HR. Performs triage of incoming escalated patient requests.
