The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Experience with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during examinations and procedures Administer injections, vaccines, EKGs, and other clinical tasks within scope of practice Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing as needed Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR Review and update medications, allergies, and medical histories Assist with prescription refills, prior authorizations, referrals, and patient follow-up calls Provide patient education and discharge instructions Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and organization of exam rooms and clinical supplies Follow infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines Coordinate with providers and front office staff to ensure efficient patient flow Support both scheduled primary care visits and walk-in/immediate care patients Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, CCMA, etc.) Previous experience in primary care, urgent care, or immediate care preferred Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced setting Basic computer and documentation skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Preferred Skills Phlebotomy and EKG experience Bilingual skills are a plus Experience handling high patient volume Strong organizational and patient service skills
