Medical Assistant (Internal Medicine Practice) Full-Time | Fast-Paced | Patient-Focused We are a busy and well-established Internal Medicine practice seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, can multitask without missing a beat, and know how to keep things running smoothly (with a little grace under pressure), we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities:
Room patients efficiently and accurately document vitals Prepare exam rooms and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked Administer injections, perform EKGs Review labs, communicate results, and manage follow-up care Perform patient assessments and triage calls with clinical judgment Handle prescription refills Assist physicians with incoming & outgoing faxes, ensuring documents are filled out properly with physician signatures Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-ups Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-ready clinical space Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards Deliver excellent patient service—even on the busiest days

Qualifications:
Previous experience in Internal Medicine or a similar outpatient setting preferred Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent communication and patient service skills Experience with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks is a plus) Ability to stay calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure
