Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and medication lists using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, administering medications, and basic life support (BLS) procedures Support physicians and nurses with documentation of medical records, ICD coding, and accurate medical documentation Manage medical office operations including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and coordinating referrals Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication administration, and health maintenance strategies Assist with specialized procedures in dermatology clinics or hospital settings such as PICU or OR environments when necessary Requirements Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program Proven experience in medical office support with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation practices Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding standards Hands-on experience with phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs measurement, and patient service skills Inpatient experience at Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable Strong understanding of hospital medicine, emergency medicine protocols, and clinic workflows Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments such as urgent care or hospital settings including Geriatrics and Internal Medicine specialties Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications related to dermatology or emergency medicine are a plus Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding healthcare services.
