Full-Time Job Overview:
Our fast-paced rehab and pain management clinic is seeking an adaptable, high-energy, enthusiastic Medical Assistant who is interested in growing with our clinic. You will support clinical procedures, manage patient intake, and act as a medical scribe. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment where daily priorities shift rapidly.
Key Responsibilities:
Procedure Support:
Set up sterile fields and prepare equipment for pain management procedures.
Phlebotomy:
Perform blood draws and process laboratory specimens accurately.
Patient Intake:
Room patients, measure vital signs, and document detailed health histories.
Medical Scribing:
Draft comprehensive clinical notes in the EMR during patient visits.
Documentation:
Utilize proper medical terminology and formatting for all clinical entries.
Required Qualifications Language:
Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Clinical Skills:
Proven experience with phlebotomy and procedure room setup.
Scribing Ability:
Strong proficiency in medical terminology and clinical charting standards.
Adaptability:
Demonstrated ability to manage changing environments and shifting daily tasks.
Certification:
Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred. Benefits Stable schedule (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday). Competitive pay based on experience starting at around $20.00/hour with the potential to increase based on tasks Paid vacation time (allotment and details discussed during the interview process).
