- Part Time Are you a compassionate, organized Medical Assistant who enjoys helping families and keeping care running smoothly?
Schedule:
24-28 hours per week with rotating Saturdays Rotating Saturdays Ability to work late shifts Clinic Hours Lake Shore PediatricsBarrington Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday:
8:30am-5:00pm Tuesday,8:30am-6:00pm Saturday 8:00am-12;00pm Lake Shore Pediatrics
Libertyville Monday, Tuesday, Friday:
8:30am-5:00pmWednesday, Thursday:

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Medical Assistant supports the provider in many aspects of the office encounter. Works under the supervision of the Practice Manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens. Documents necessary information in the EMR. Collects specimens, performs in-office lab testing and prepares specimens for outside labs. Assists with in-office patient procedures per protocol and training. Contributes to the daily upkeep of office space and equipment. Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment based on practice protocol. Performs digital health workflows and initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements:

One year of experience in a clinical environment Computer literacyRequired Certification, Licenses, Registration:
CPR certification Certification as a Medical Assistant preferredPHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
