Front Desk / Medical Assistant - Full-Time Modern Pain Management / Modern Regenerative Institute - Libertyville, IL Modern Pain Management and Modern Regenerative Institute are seeking a dependable, professional, and motivated Front Desk / Medical Assistant to join our growing medical practice. This is a full-time hybrid position combining front desk responsibilities, administrative duties, and hands-on medical assisting. We are looking for someone who is comfortable interacting with patients, highly organized, and willing to cross-train in both the administrative and clinical aspects of the practice. Responsibilities Front Desk & Administrative Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience Answer and manage incoming phone calls Schedule and confirm patient appointments Check patients in and out Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information Collect copays and patient payments Scan, upload, and organize medical records Assist with referrals, medical records requests, and other administrative tasks Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) Help maintain an organized and efficient office Medical Assistant / Clinical Room patients and obtain vital signs Review and update medications, allergies, and medical history Document patient information accurately in the EMR Prepare examination and procedure rooms Set up supplies and equipment for office-based procedures Assist the physician during procedures Perform phlebotomy/blood draws Clean and restock examination and procedure rooms Follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols Provide additional clinical assistance as directed by the physician Required Skills & Qualifications Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) system Phlebotomy skills and experience performing blood draws preferred Comfortable assisting physicians with office-based procedures Strong computer and data-entry skills Excellent communication and customer-service skills Professional and friendly demeanor Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and transition between front-office and clinical responsibilities Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a small team Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as the practice grows Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate enjoys both patient-facing administrative work and hands-on clinical responsibilities . We are looking for someone who takes initiative, learns quickly, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a growing physician practice where team members may assist in multiple areas.
