Competitive compensation Generous paid time off and holidays Retirement savings opportunities Career growth and development programs A positive and collaborative work environment where employees are valued Position Summary The Medical Assistant is an integral member of the patient care team, providing both clinical and administrative support to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include direct patient care, patient registration, appointment scheduling, and a variety of front and back-office functions that support efficient clinic operations. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required. Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR a minimum of one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience may be substituted for program completion. Certification Requirement Candidates must provide one of the following within six (6) months of hire Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
Compensation Pay Range:
$20.05 - $28.14 per hour Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
