This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, can multitask effectively, and is committed to providing excellent patient care and communication. The Medical Assistant will primarily support patient rooming and follow-up callbacks, while helping maintain efficient patient flow and ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to detail, professional, and able to confidently prioritize multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Room patients efficiently and accurately while obtaining vital signs and updating medical information. Assist providers with patient care and clinical workflows. Make follow-up calls to patients and communicate information clearly and professionally. Coordinate patient needs and help ensure timely follow-up. Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy, fast-paced clinic. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical team. Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment. Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered service at every interaction. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Assistant required Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
