Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. Medical Assistants must adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. They are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion during all interactions.Where You Will Work :

High School Diploma or GED required. Must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of verifiable Medical Assistant experience or a current certified/registered Medical Assistant with 2 years of verifiable Medical Assistant experience Phlebotomy skills are preferred.What You'll Do:

7:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. Hours are always subject to change. As a Medical Assistant , you'll play a vital role in the care team- supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.
About This Location:
Orland Park, IL- 9550 W 167th St
- primary location but will travel to Merrionette Park, IL
- 11600 S Kedzie Ave on a as needed basis.
Must be able to:
push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present. Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions. Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines. Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed. May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions. Physical Abilities Testing may be required. Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader. Ready to Take theNext Step:
