Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and ensure all medical records are complete and up-to-date. Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling administrative support tasks like ICD coding and medical documentation. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards across outpatient, inpatient, emergency medicine, or trauma center settings. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding to accurately support clinical documentation and patient care. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) management tools for efficient documentation. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations. Familiarity with medical office management tasks such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, ICD coding, and medical records management.
