Full time certified medical assistant, medical assistant, or qualified medical assistant Job tasks include: Taking vitals Obtaining patient information Obtaining prior authorizations Medication refills Assist and anticipating the doctor's needs Referrals Paperwork (FMLA, Medical Forms) (depends of the form, min 5 mins) Upkeep of back office Answer Telephone encounters (depends on if we need to call and get more information from patient)
