Job Description

Description Ready to make a difference in patients' lives every day? Konza Prairie Community Health Center is looking for a motivated, compassionate Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join our Immunization Department . This position will focus primarily on supporting immunization services, including vaccine administration, patient education, documentation, and coordination of immunization needs. You'll work closely with our Immunization Coordinator and clinical care teams to help patients of all ages stay up to date on recommended vaccines. Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on education and experience Up to 5 weeks of PTO + paid holidays Medical, dental, vision & 403(b) retirement with employer match No nights or weekends + clinics close at 2 PM every Friday What You'll Do Administer vaccines in accordance with established protocols and competency requirements Review patient immunization histories and identify vaccines that may be due Educate patients and families about recommended vaccines Accurately document immunizations in the electronic health record and applicable immunization systems Support vaccine inventory, storage, temperature monitoring, and supply management Assist with immunization outreach, reminder/recall, and follow-up activities Prepare patients and clinical areas for immunization services Follow vaccine safety, infection prevention, storage, and handling requirements Work closely with the Immunization Coordinator , providers, nursing staff, and other members of the clinical team Provide general Medical Assistant support as needed to meet clinic and patient care needs Requirements What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential Experience administering vaccines, medications, or injections Knowledge of vaccine administration, storage, handling, and documentation practices CPR/BLS certification for Healthcare Providers, or ability to obtain within the required timeframe Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills Preferred Qualifications One or more years of Medical Assistant experience Experience with vaccine programs or immunization services Primary care or outpatient experience FQHC and/or eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience Bilingual in English and Spanish Join the Konza Team If you're an RMA who enjoys patient education, preventive care, and immunizations , this is an opportunity to use your clinical skills to make a meaningful impact across our community.
