Job Description
Overview Busy family practice is looking for an energetic, dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. . Duties include rooming patients(age range from newborn-elderly), obtaining vital signs, assisting medical providers and nurses, cleaning/restocking rooms, operation of EKG and other medical equipment. Full-time availability needed during business hours 4-5 days a week. No evenings or weekends. Computer experience required. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for their appointments by taking medical histories and recording vital signs. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries in a professional manner. Support the clinical team in various settings Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Collaborate effectively with other medical staff to enhance patient care. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with clinic operations, hospital medicine, OR procedures, and emergency medicine is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
