We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. Position Summary The Certified Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support to our providers and help deliver quality, patient-centered care in a professional outpatient Oncology/Hematology clinic. Responsibilities Greet and room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories Assist provider with examinations and procedures Administer medications and injections as directed Perform point-of-care testing and other clinical duties Prepare and maintain examination rooms and supplies Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Assist with scheduling, referrals, and other office duties as needed Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and staff Follow all applicable safety, privacy, and infection-control procedures Qualifications Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred/required Previous medical office experience preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Professional, dependable, and compassionate Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team Experience with electronic medical records preferred
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
