Medical Assistant Gameday Men's Health - Lexington, Kentucky Gameday Men's Health is seeking an experienced, clinically confident Medical Assistant to support our Clinical Director and provide exceptional care in a fast-paced, concierge-style men's health practice. This is not a traditional rooming-only Medical Assistant position. We are looking for someone who is highly competent with injections, comfortable working closely with providers, takes ownership of patient needs, and understands the level of service expected in a personalized healthcare environment. What You'll Do The Medical Assistant will work closely with the Clinical Director to support day-to-day clinical operations and ensure patients receive safe, efficient, and highly personalized care.

Responsibilities include:

Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections Prepare medications for administration according to provider orders Draw medications accurately from single- and multidose vials Verify medication, dose, concentration, route, and patient prior to administration Support patients receiving testosterone replacement and other men's health therapies Obtain and document vital signs and relevant clinical information Prepare patients for provider visits Assist the Clinical Director with patient flow and clinical needs Recognize clinical concerns and appropriately escalate them to the provider Accurately document medication administration and patient interactions Maintain medication storage, supplies, and clinical inventory Follow infection-control, medication-safety, and sharps-disposal procedures Communicate with patients regarding appointments, treatment processes, and follow-up needs within the scope of the MA role Help create a welcoming, efficient, concierge-level patient experience Assist with other clinical and operational responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For We are specifically seeking a candidate with strong hands-on clinical experience. Required Medical Assistant training and/or applicable Medical Assistant experience Significant recent experience administering injections Strong competency with intramuscular and subcutaneous injections Experience drawing medications from vials Strong medication-safety practices Ability to perform basic medication dosage calculations Excellent clinical judgment and willingness to stop and seek clarification when something does not appear correct Strong communication and patient-service skills Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment Strong attention to detail Reliable, organized, and proactive work style Comfortable working closely with a Clinical Director and taking ownership of delegated responsibilities Strongly Preferred Experience with one or more of the following: Testosterone replacement therapy Men's health Hormone therapy Testosterone injections B12 injections Weight-management injections GLP-1 medications Wellness medicine Urology or endocrinology Concierge medicine Med-spa or similar high-touch outpatient healthcare environments The Patient Experience Matters Gameday operates differently from a high-volume traditional medical office. A 30-minute virtual screening interview focused on clinical background, injection experience, medication safety, clinical judgment, patient service, and overall fit. Second Interview -

In Person:

Candidates who advance will meet with the Clinical Director for an in-person interview and clinical competency assessment. Because injection administration is a significant component of this position, candidates should expect to demonstrate their knowledge and competency as part of the interview process.
