Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient service, and various medical systems. The Medical Assistant will work closely with physician and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Dermatology experience is a plus! Duties Assist the Doctor with Mohs Surgery which includes but not limited to the tasks listed below: Obtain vital signs Prepare surgical rooms for examination of patients Keeps rooms stocked with supplies at all times Give injections Dressing Changes Suture Removals Suturing Cauterization Wound care counseling Advance experience with Ipads Data entry and using EMR program Good understanding of skin anatomy Ability to work as a team member Attention to detail Demonstrate skills in administration of topical and local anesthetics Empathetic with patient needs and concerns Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients through compassionate care and professional excellence.
