Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment. This position requires both clinical and administrative skills to support healthcare providers and ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
  • The practice main location is in Bolton, MA.
  • Prior experience in an otolaryngology or surgical clinic is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Pay rate will commensurate with prior experience, skills and ability to work in multiple locations( $25
  • 28 per hour)
  • 2-4 days/week (16-32 hours/week) available Duties Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures.
Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Prepare patients for examinations by taking medical histories and documenting relevant information. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical regulations. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling insurance documentation. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Skills Proficient in medical terminology relevant to various healthcare settings. Strong understanding of patient care protocols. Ability to perform clinical tasks assigned. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation purposes. Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on providing a positive experience for all patients.
