Job Description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting our client with hiring a Medical Assistant in Chelmsford, Massachusetts! This role is in person / on site. Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume.
Position Type :
Five-month contract, opportunity for extension
Schedule :
Monday through Friday; 8am to 5pm
Pay :
$22.30 to $24.30 per hour, based on experience Responsibilities of the
Medical Assistant :
  • Rooming patients for Allergy and Nephrology in a muti specialty department.
  • Taking appropriate vital signs depending on specialty working in for that day.
  • Manage incoming patient messages from the phone rooms or patients using their online portal to communicate with clinicians.
  • Scrubbing patients charts to ensure clinicians have everything they need for patient visit.
  • Calling patients to remind them of their visit, and how to prepare for their visit with the clinician.
  • Filling open slots in clinician schedule when they have a same day cancellation.
  • Other administrative responsibilities when the need arises.
Qualifications of the
Medical Assistant :
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Medical Assistant certification or registration is preferred

Pay Details:
