Medical Assistant - Pediatrics LiveWell Homecare Agency Chelmsford, MA Job Details 21 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in a pediatric department. You will assist clinicians with routine procedures, prepare patients for exams by measuring vital signs, and update electronic medical records with accurate medical information. Your responsibilities include ensuring smooth patient flow, greeting and escorting patients, reconciling medications, and performing point-of-care tests such as strep, urine, and glucose testing. You will also inform patients about exam preparation, keep them updated on wait times, and help resolve minor concerns.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or Medical Assistant Certification Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days Knowledge of reagent stability, testing procedures, and EMR systems Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets Experience in clinical or customer service settings preferred Associate degree or higher is a plus
