We are looking for a team player who can take the initiative to get tasks accomplished while functioning in a high volume, fast paced environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: Rooming patients, interviewing patients and documenting their history Keep the flow of the clinic running smoothly Clean and stock patient exam rooms Clean, sterilize, and package surgical instruments Act as a scribe for the physician Actively document the exam into the EMR during the patient visit Set up surgical trays for excisions and biopsies Assist in minor medical and cosmetic procedures Inform patients of biopsy results Relay information between providers and patients that is clear and concise Prior authorizations for medication Patient education for procedures and medications What we are looking for: Flexibility Critical thinking capabilities Strong multi-tasking Attention to detail Approachable and positive attitude Knowledge of EMR preferred Must be able to operate an Ipad efficiently Dermatology experience preferred but not required During training, the schedule will be M-F 8:30-5:00pm. Full time set schedule will begin after several weeks of training, as determined by the Clinical Manager.
