Full Job Description Job Description:
Looking for the right person for this multi-faceted position. Since we are a highly specialized practice extensive training will be provided. Some medical background is required through experience or education. This is a great opportunity for individuals that desire enhanced professional development within the health care field. The candidate we seek must be patient oriented, have excellent communication skills, enjoy taking initiative, work well within the team and promote positive work environment. This is a fast paced environment with three busy clinic days. The candidate must be able to work early mornings.
Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, performs expanded and advanced level medical assistant duties Demonstrate a high level of competence and provides back up coverage for support staff Provides direct clinical support to one clinician Works to improve clinical efficiencies of the day to day operations by determining urgency and priority of patient consults Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms EMR charting Taking x-rays Assist in surgical procedures Administer treatment plans Sterilize instruments Other tasks as assigned which can include administrative tasks
