JOB GOAL
: To assist the Nurse Leader in implementing school district health policies and procedures and assist school health services under the direct supervision of the building Registered Nurses and/or Registered Nurse Leader.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
: Will assist the School Nurses with the daily operation of the Health Office including but not limited to: Communication with staff, students and parents Vital Signs Maintenance of the Electronic Health Records Assistance with Health Screenings Minor First Aid under the supervision of the RN Assisting students to and from the Nursing Office Other tasks assigned by the School Nurses
LANGUAGE SKILLS
: Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, policies, instructions, correspondence, and procedures. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees, students, and the general public.
