• Job Summary
• We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide support to healthcare professionals in various medical settings, including clinics and hospitals, ensuring efficient patient care.
• Responsibilities
• Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with minor procedures, and administering medications
• Assist healthcare providers in various specialties including internal medicine, medical-surgical, dermatology, and hospital medicine
• Provide medical administrative support including patient scheduling, coding, and maintaining electronic health records
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Educate patients on medication use and inhalation techniques
• Conduct outpatient procedures under the supervision of healthcare providers
• Requirements
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
• Proficiency in clinical procedures and medical terminology
• Experience working in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of outpatient procedures and medical office protocols
