You will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator within the clinical setting. This vital role combines patient service excellence with clinical support, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative atmosphere that values your skills and encourages professional growth.
Hours:
Monday 8:30 AM-1:00 Per diem hours Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Collect patient histories, document vital signs, and perform basic assessments including intake procedures and physiological measurements. Support clinical staff by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting with procedures. Obtaining X-ray imaging or medication administration when qualified. Manage appointment scheduling, coordinate referrals, and ensure timely communication between patients and healthcare providers. Maintain accurate medical documentation. Assist with patient education on treatment plans, medication instructions, and follow-up care. Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, managing patient records, verifying insurance information, and supporting billing processes. Manage supply inventory and coordinate with office manager for orders Qualifications Prior experience in medical assisting within outpatient or hospital environments. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and assist with procedures such as X-ray when certified or under supervision of the physicians. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations.
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
