Medical Assistant $30/hr

Job Description

Schedule:
M-F, 8:30am-5pm, with one day leaving at 6pm and one day leaving at 4pm
Responsibilities:
Rooms students when they arrive for visits, checks vitals and obtains and documents accurate vital signs, height, weight, pain level and allergies. Ensure that pre-visit paperwork has been completed. Phlebotomy, EKG's, Point of Care testing, telephone triage. Gives immunizations. Maintains neat, clean and safe exam rooms and treatment areas. Patient care areas are clean, organized, and ready for patients. Alerts provider when the patient is ready to be seen and communicates all pertinent clinical information. Assist patients with check-out process. Cleans and prepares exam room for next patient.
Experience:
High School graduate/GED Candidates require at least 1-2 years MA experience National MA certification highly preferred Solid injection/vaccine experience highly preferred BLS/CPR Epic experience preferred, but willing to train if need be Vitals, patient care, swabbing, injections
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have a valid Medical Assistant diploma or certificate?

License/Certification:
CPR Certification (Required)
